Hi! We're Erika Oregel and Helton Souza. 

Our story started in 2020 when we decided to buy a 2001 Gillig Low Floor bus. We tore it down to the frame, designed every detail with intention, and rebuilt it into the rolling home we had always dreamed of. 

We're a pretty balanced team. Helton is the engineer and Co-Founder of Labdoor, who can build just about anything and loves solving complex problems. Erika is the creative one, working as a Creative Content Director and passionate about photography, filmmaking, and turning life's moments into stories. 

Today, after 7 months of living on the road, our journey has started to look a little different from what we imagined, as we found out Erika's breast cancer. 

To help cover the cost of treatment, we've made the difficult decision to put our beloved Cappella Bus up for sale and start building the next one while we wait for Erika's treatment to be done. 

This bus gave us the freedom to chase our dreams and start living outside the box, even during Erika's treatment. It has helped us confirm that living your life on your own terms matters more than anything. 

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who's followed our journey, and we can't wait to see where the road takes us next.
